Leadership Transition at Bulk Carriers

After 3½ years of dedicated service, Nick Williams has made the decision to step away from his role as Chief Executive Officer. Under Nick’s leadership, Bulk Carriers has undergone cultural changes, grown stronger, more resilient, and better positioned for long-term success. We are sincerely grateful for Nick’s unwavering commitment, strategic vision, and the positive impact he continues to make. While a new chapter begins, Nick will remain actively involved and instrumental in supporting a smooth and effective leadership transition.

As we turn the page to a new chapter, we are pleased to announce that Shane Peterson has stepped into the CEO role effective April 28, 2025. Shane started with us in 2023 as our Corporate Controller and brought a strong background in finance, operational excellence, strategic thinking, and a values-driven approach that aligned deeply with our culture.
