Since its inception in 1973 by current owner Jack Kelly, Bulk Carriers (P.E.I.) Limited has evolved into a leading provider of temperature-controlled transport services. With over 100 trucks and 200 trailers, our family-owned company takes pride in its continuous growth. We have made significant strides, including the establishment of our 18,000-square-foot cold storage facility in Moncton, NB, and the recent appointment of a new CEO. To further support our valued customers and partners, we have opened a state-of-the-art administrative and driver facility, complete with a secure yard for equipment parking. These developments solidify our commitment to expanding our business and meeting future demands.

One of the most important aspects of our company is the safety of our staff, fleet, client’s cargo, and anyone else involved in getting your goods from point A to point B. Since the company was founded, we have focused on maintaining a high level of certification and safety training, and we continue to find ways to improve our all levels of our operation.
The UCR Act, established in 2005, requires motor carriers involved in interstate commerce, and other businesses subject to The Act, to submit annual fees based on fleet size to supplement funding for state highway motor carrier registration and safety programs.
MCS-90 Endorsement Coverage is proof from the motor carrier’s insurance provider that when an accident does happen, restitution will be paid no matter what.
The Act respecting owners, operators and drivers of heavy vehicles has the purpose of increasing the safety of road users on roads open to public vehicular traffic and preserving the integrity of those roads.
